Roger Ison-Haug

Roger holds a PhD in Cybersecurity Leadership from Capitol Technology University in the United States, where his research examined how leadership competence affects the likelihood of cybersecurity incidents.

He also holds an MBA from the University of East London, has completed Stanford LEAD at Stanford Graduate School of Business, and has taken the executive programme in geopolitical risk management at BI Norwegian Business School. The combination is deliberate: security, business operations and international politics are connected, and decisions that account for only one of them are rarely sound.

Roger brings more than 30 years of experience across hands-on technical work, management and strategic advisory. He has served as global Chief Information Security Officer and as global Data Protection Officer in international groups, accountable for security and privacy across borders, regulatory regimes and corporate structures.

At Berigo he leads the practice for information security, corporate governance and regulatory frameworks. He works in particular with board advisory, NIS2 governance, risk management, CISO and DPO services, maturity development and security leadership.

His approach is to make complex issues understandable and actionable for leaders who must make strategic decisions.
