About Berigo

Berigo is an independent Norwegian practice working at the intersection of cybersecurity, strategy, leadership and compliance. We help organisations build security as an integrated part of governance.

A Norwegian centre of expertise in cybersecurity, leadership and compliance, with deep experience from industry, technology companies and international groups

Berigo is an independent Norwegian practice working at the intersection of cybersecurity, strategy, leadership and compliance. We help organisations build security as an integrated part of governance, not as a side project or an unplanned cost. The goal is always the same: to strengthen decision-making, reduce risk and make organisations more resilient and competitive in an increasingly demanding digital landscape.

We work closely with executive management, boards, specialist functions and operational teams. In our experience, organisations succeed when technology, people and management systems are treated as one whole, and when security is clearly anchored with leadership.

The Team

The team consists of advisers with backgrounds in business leadership, industry, technology, the defence sector and international groups. The practice is led by Roger Ison-Haug, Ph.D. in Cybersecurity Leadership.

Our Philosophy

  1. Security is a leadership discipline. Technology matters, but maturity, governance, culture and prioritisation are what make the difference.
  2. Real security beats paper tigers. Documentation should support the business, not conceal weaknesses.
  3. Competence is a strategic asset. Both leadership and specialist teams must understand the risks they face.
